This is a test. This is post is a prayer. It is a goal. It is a stake in the ground. It is the first step.
I created this blog because I wanted to share my love of Christmas and crafting and vintage and hopefully it can inspire others to use crafting as a way to amplify their joy for others to find too. There is something so wonderful about taking time out of your holiday season to make a bit of magic for someone else to enjoy and love.
The image above is from Smile Mercantile’s craft project turning a vintage cake pan into a wonderful holiday diorama. Imagine finding an old cake tin in the thrift that would probably be tossed and turning it into something as magical as one of these dioramas. It’s a perfect example of what I hope to achieve with this blog. Joy from doing.
